The Firmstep Stories Blog is the place where Firmsteps was cultivated and brought to life.

Since its launch in Spring of 2018, it continues to impact many women of all ages around the world to take risks, face their fears, and put their faith to action. It does this by sharing the very real, raw, and personal stories of lionesses doing just that. Knowing that there is true power found in the word of one girl’s testimony and “yes” to God, Firmstep Stories is dedicated to shaping a culture of women marked by strong faith, unshakeable courage, and a relentless pursuit of God.

Sharing a vulnerable story with who-knows-how-many-internet-people can be a little nerve wracking, but the story is really more about God's faithfulness than about me. The Your Story Matters Project is the Firmsteps way of putting love to action.

This special project has the goal to bring 300+ wrapped gifts to a new city every year, while exposing that city’s locals to new ministry and volunteer opportunities available to them. Each wrapped gift is comprised of a faith-based book to read and be inspired by, a composition notebook to write stories and dreams in, an encouraging note, and a writing pen as a resource. Then, these gifts are given to those who are in a current state of homelessness, those who have been sexually exploited, domestically abused, or feel thrown out in some way. The message behind each gift is, “God loves you. You’re not forgotten. Your story Matters.”
